Born in Hokkaido, Chinami Kamishima graduated from Esmod Japon in 1989 and worked for the apparel company. After leaving the company in 1994, she traveled Europe and Asia. Her collection was first introduced at the '02 Spring/Summer Tokyo Collection. She participated in the TRANOI Exhibition in Paris at the '06-'07 Autumn/Winter.
