Superfertile - Terrorism affects Tourism

Photo: Jonathan Player for The New York Times

Kali Arulpragasam, a jewelry designer in London, likes to make big political statements in her art. Her latest collection, called “Terrorism Affects Tourism,” is a series of breastplate necklaces that hang below the navel and celebrate positive aspects of war-torn nations.

Presenting a new Label: Essential Mishap

After leaving a comment on someone´s blog about my dissatisfaction with some of Karl Lagerfeld´s designs, I recieved angry replies within seconds. I´m quite aware of the fact that there is no accounting for taste, but some people seem to think that just because a certain designer has presented something one has to adore it without any ifs and buts.

So far I have preferred to post things that I found appealing and to ignore those I found ...let´s say... questionable. But now I´m going to go for them under the label "Essential Mishap"

Erohina Design - Chair Wardrobe

The “Chair Wardrobe” by Erohina Yulia appears as a normal chair, but the secret is the inside storage or wardrobe. The design is made of two different colored plastics (different wood or textiles are also available) signifying the double features of the chair.
